According to Crawford, the last denarius of the Roman Republic. L.
Pinarius Scarpa commanded four legions of Marcus Antonius in the
Cyrenaica. After the battle of Actium he quickly changed his allegiance in
favour of Octavian. The open hand and the legend proclaim friendship
to Octavian.
